
If you're feeling apprehensive or lost on where to start your fitness journey the first thought is 'I'll hire a PT so I can build my fitness and won't feel silly in front of others'.
But the kicker is the bloody cost of living, then adding $40-$100 per week for 1-2 sessions. It makes you question whether it all seems worth it!
So let me tell you all about our sessions!
First of all, and I think this is the most important, we're all women. I've heard some horror stories of women in the gym and with 100% confidence I can say I've never had an experience with cliques, name calling, isolation or bulling in 8 years. Our community is so kind, welcoming & understanding and I would accept nothing less from my members. As some one who has been on the outside and felt like i didn't belong, it is my mission to create a space where all women feel included and valued for being themselves.
Secondly- kids. I have women who share concerns of the baby crying the whole session or their kid running away. This rarely happens but when it does so many of our mum's have been there too, so they understand how you feel and support you for it!
Thirdly- image. Women share concerns of being too fat or too unfit to train in a group environment, when it just isn't the case. Our community has welcomed women who are 120+kg and women who have never trained in their lives. In all these instances these women have become the biggest inspirations for women within our community and followers online, because they stop letting their fears control them and began doing the work to feel worthy. All our sessions are suitable for all fitness levels no matter how you look or feel. As I say to all our new members, 'I've been doing this a long time so I've got so many goodies in my bag to help you and where you're at.'
Fun fact I've got so many goodies in my bag, I've had multiple clients training in moon boots and braces because they haven't wanted to stop.
Fourth- time. I asked ChatGPT what the biggest barrier for mums returning to fitness was and the response was wild.
Time -> Priorities -> Kids -> Guilt -> Mindset -> Worth -> Boundaries -> time.

One of the reasons why our timetable is not packed with classes is because I believe decision overload is a HUGE issue for mums, and it becomes too easy to keep putting the workout off til tomorrow when you have lots of options. When you know you only have a few options you commit to making them work, which in turn means you have one less thing to think about. You can set it up in your calendar, let your SO know that time is for you and you know exactly what to expect. Fresh air, sunshine, outdoors, chatting, laughing and a good workout.
Fourth and final the cost. The part which at this time in the economy is one of the biggest concerns for many women. The value within our memberships is absolutely insane.
